Streets of Marrakech in Watercolour

Julie will demonstrate how to interpret this Marrakech narrow street scene in Watercolour.
You will learn how to:-
Interpret light and shade using a limited palette
Unify the painting with an initial wet on wet base tone.
Techniques for layering warm and cool shades to suggest the mottled walls.
Wet on dry and softening technique.

You will need

Watercolours:
Cadmium yellow Pale

Raw sienna or Yellow ochre

Permanent rose

Scarlet lake

Winsor blue (green shade)

Indigo

Brushes:
Large mop brush,Flat 1/2 ", Round 4 and 6

Pebeo masking fluid plus small old brush

Masking tape

B pencil

Fabriano Artistico watercolour paper 140lb NOT approx size 33 x 23 cms plus
